Hey, it’s me! It seems I have partly lost the inspiration to write about my running activities, but I want to keep this blog still. Maybe there will be better times ahead and more time for the writing.
Anyway, the blog has now moved to a new and more performant server. Simultaneously I configured the services to run in docker containers which should make it easier to migrate new services and possibly to move elsewhere if needed.
My next running event will take place already about in a month in Berlin, Germany. I participated in the lottery last year with my friends and we received the happy message about the participation slot. I am obviously thrilled, as the Berlin marathon always is a classic and worth running, even though I haven’t been able to reach my old fitness standards. Maybe I should visit a doctor and let a thorough inspection to be carried out. That way I would at least get some peace of mind.
My goals for Berlin are not particularly high – the main goal is to finish and the secondary one is to finish the run in the time of under four hours. Let’s see how it goes; I’m not setting any higher targets, as the previous years have been a real struggle and I really would like to enjoy the run. I’m planning to write a couple of posts beforehand and let you get to know my Berlin favorites.
But now I have to hit the bed to see if I can manage a long run today.
Cheers,
