Hi,
it seems I’m finally getting back to the right track and it gives a tremendous pleasure to be able to do tougher and tougher workouts. Now I only have to keep up with the good phase and go on until the Hannover marathon. I have also been thinking about, whether I should divide the blog content to two separate blogs: one for the running related themes and the other one for tech and software.
Today I wanted to run 3 times a mile plus warmup, cool-down with three minute recovery phases. However, I accidentally setup the watch incorrectly so the training became 5 x 1km. This time I think bursts of one km were more than enough, and maybe I’ll be more fit next week and will be able to do the workout with more focused spirits. By the way, if there are any Vívoactive HR users out there that are searching for an interval app, I can recommend the HiiT by DeanKarlen. With the app the watch gets a feature that most VAHR users have been longing for; an app that enables real interval trainings with repetitions, warmup and cool-down phases etc.
This week I aim at doing a tempo run of about 15 km, a long run of 25 km and a very easy recovery run. Let’s see, how the week proceeds and whether I’m able to do everything…
Until next time: have great workouts out there!
