The time goes by when you are having a good time, they say. I’m not entirely about sure whether I’ve had a real good time lately, but surely I have noticed how quickly the weeks go when you have a lot of to do.
I have tried to gradually increase the training load – at the moment the weekly amount of running training is about at 40 – 50 k, but I would like to increase this to 60 – 80k, if the time allows.
The feeling about the running during the past few days has unfortunately not been entirely positive. Somehow I still feel that my lungs don’t work as they should and I might still have something there. Maybe it’s some allergy or similar. If I were wise, I would have visited a doctor already, but I’m still waiting to see what will happen and try to believe the body will take care of this by itself. 🙂
Last week I had a couple of easy runs, an interval training, a tempo run and a progression run and this week looks like about the same. Today I did a training with 2 min fartlek intervals at 5k / 10k effort. It felt pretty hard, but hope this pays off when it’s time to start at Vahrer-Seen-Lauf next week. Tomorrow I will probably have skip the training altogether as I have a team event in the evening and probably will have a beer or more. 🙂 On Thursday it will be time for something else, then.
