This week I have started to feel quite OK, but I have wanted to start carefully with the training in order not to jeopardize the recovery and the upcoming races. On Thursday I ran approximately 9 k with a couple of intervals. When going at a rapid pace I still feel I am not completely back where I was before the misery with the illnesses began, but I am now pretty confident that things will turn out well.
Tonight I went for another run, on about the same route as the Vahrer-Seen-Lauf will be. I now want to mainly concentrate on enhancing my pace and getting my basic speed to a higher level, i.e. more interval trainings, tempo runs plus regularly a long run in the weekend. Let’s see whether this recipe works out…
Tomorrow I would like to have a longish run, about 1 h 20 – 1 h 30 mins. I’ll get back to this, when there’s something reasonable to be discussed. 🙂
