Tuesday was the first actual day of my new training plan. I’m pretty excited at the moment as I’m fairly confident that this time I’ll be able to reach major improvements in my performance.

This weeks two interval trainings have been tough as there haven’t been any that kind of activities lately. Usually I do not do enough interval type of training so better get active for a change. On Tuesday there was a fartlek scheduled: I did a set of 1 min sprints (12x) with a recovery. On Wednesday the weather was really bad due to the storm raging out there so I did only a six kilometres run. Today I went for tempo intervals – I was supposed to do six repetitions of 1 mile with a three min recovery. However, I was so exhausted that I only did five repetitions…

Now time to hit the bed again. Sleep tight!
