Hi there, Thursday’s training was focused on doing some intervals. I didn’t feel like doing it as it usually is a painful type of workout, but because I now try to run every day, I think it was a good thing to do after all. What is more important: I think I cannot improve my 10k performance without adequate interval training.
My goal was to run each interval at a pace of 3.30 – 3.50 min/km, and this target succeeded pretty well. TomTom Spark is a good buddy and notified me each time about the respective phase of the training. This time 5 repetitions was enough for me, and I definitely need to have an easy workout tonight to get some recovery. TGIF!
