Early bird caught the worm once again. I was pretty satisfied that I managed to get out of bed already at 6.10AM and at 07.05AM I already was on the road. Today’s workout was the fast finish long run, but with a lower distance than last time. The fact that I had postponed my Goal Pace Run to Friday made the running a bit more difficult than it would have been with an extra day of rest; at least I think so. First 10k I ran at my normal long run pace and after that about 13k at my marathon target pace. Finally the two last kilometres were supposed to be a quicker finish.
Now I’m heading to the final two weeks of training. I’ll attempt to follow the training program carefully in order to avoid grave mistakes. Let’s see in two weeks, how everything has succeeded. Tomorrow will be rest, and after feeling this tired (I fell asleep multiple times during the day) it seems like a great plan.
