I was hoping to get some other activity for tonight than a fartlek run, but I’m really trying to keep up with my training program instead of skipping exercise on weak grounds. I hope this pays off in Berlin in 2,5 weeks as well as in Braunschweig at the end of October. I have namely decided to do another run there like last year as the event was so enjoyable and I really have great memories from there due to reaching my best marathon time ever.
At the beginning of the workout I had a warmup of about 1,5 km and after that I did sixteen times one minute run at a moderately high pace plus one minute recovery (this was mostly walking as I still noticed that the Sunday’s effort could be felt in the legs). After having made the target number of repeats I had a nice cooldown until reaching the finish.
For tomorrow Strava suggests an easy run so why not, because the rest of the week will probably be a bit harder…
