Cruise intervals

8 x 1k, 0.2k recovery + wu/cd

Today’s training by Strava was interval training in the cruise pace. I have often disliked intervals, but if I want to develop as runner, there’s hardly another way than to run even this type of training every now and then. I decided to run each interval at about 4.15 min/km − 4.30 min/km in order to keep it realistic to keep up the pace even in the last two intervals. This was a fourth day in a row with running so the legs are tired once again. Tomorrow or on Saturday I plan to get a day off from the running, but I should run at least two sessions on this week still in order to reach the goal of 80k. Let’s see; now it’s time to jump to bed and have a bit of sleep.
